Battle Snacks deliver a (Frosted) Carrot Cake Showstopper!

At last, the wait - the 'Carrot Countdown', if you will - is OVER...the new Frosted Carrot Cake Battle Bites have arrived!!

Maybe you find yourself asking, 'what's SO exciting about these' - or, to coin an uncannily appropriate phrase, perhaps something along the lines of, 'Ehhh, What's up Doc?' - and the answer, aside from the obvious (er...it's CARROT CAKE flavoured!), is that it's made by the one and only Battle Snacks (Haha...AND that we've been waiting for it for what seems like an eternity! It was MONTHS ago we first got to try samples of this one and anticipation can raise excitement just a tad!) ;-)

To say Battle Snacks (formerly Battle Oats) are on a bit roll with their snacks of late would be a gargantuan understatement (and you guys don't know the half of it! You should see some of the all-new bits they're developing as we speak!!) - Birthday Cake, Red Velvet, the Christmassy Candy Cane... - and it's this fact, and all the usual low sugar, guilt-free, high protein, choc coated Battle Bites awesomeness, that has us 'hopping' over here!

Carrot Cake, one of the timeless British cakes, is a flavour rarely tackled in the world of protein snacks, but we had full confidence, their recent track record in mind, that if any guys could pull it off? It's Kevin, Shaun & the Battle Snacks bakery!

They've only gone and done it!!

Typically soft, offering the great mix of fun, satisfying textures we love them for (read: inclusions!), a creamy white choc 'frosting', sweet yet sophisticated brown sugar-deep, spiced flavour (yes cinnamon - obv! - ginger, mixed spice but, also, an unmistakable, authentic note of carrot and a just a hint of orange zest!) They've even got crunchy CARROT-SHAPED SPRINKLES on top, for godssakes!

All this, with the usual 20g protein and less than 3g sugar?!

We may be a loooong way from the Bake Off tent but this bar makes one hell of a showstopper and, Kev and Shaun, you're BOTH getting handshakes when I get to catch-up with you!!
