Chocolate meets Caramel in Lenny & Larry's latest Plant-Based Protein Cookie... Salted Caramel!

Lenny & Larry's aren't pulling their punches with the crowd-pleasers, huh? A few months back with the fun, sprinkled Chocolate Donut and now hitting us with consistently one the bestselling flavours out there (across bars, cookies, ice cream, shakes...you name it!!!) - Salted Caramel!!!

Oh yes, folks...Salted Caramel Lenny & Larry's Cookies are a thing and, even better, these brand new baked bombshells are in the Mix. RIGHT. NOW!!

So, how have the makers of the world's favourite protein-packed, plant-based cookies done with this classic flavour? Not half bad, i'm pleased to report!!

In a slightly unexpected move, the guys have opted for a rich, chocolate base (if you liked the crumby, cakey base of the Chocolate Donut flavour? You'll be right at home here! Taste and texture is near identical...it worked there and, yep, it works here, even if it was a bit of a surprise!!) and the salted caramel flavour has been crammed in via a generous studding of tasty, golden, creamy, caramel-flavoured chips (or 'drops' as they're calling them).

Haha...OK, this in mind, perhaps a better name for this vegan-friendly, all-natural Complete Cookie creation would be 'Chocolate Caramel Chip' but...it's all deadly, guys!! WHATEVER it is i'm trying hard not scoff over here? It tastes pretty good to me!! ;-)

And if you're worried this one will be *too sweet* (if such a thing exists!!)? Don't be!! The chocolate base reins it in elegantly (indeed, it's more of a choccy experience here than anything else given than there's no gooey caramel filling or anything going on) and Lenny & Larry's wisely haven't gone 'nuclear' with overly-intense caramel flavouring as some do!
