Think you know the CRUNCH?! Applied Nutrition are the latest to take us there with their new Protein Crunch bars!

The second (well, second and third!) CrUNcHy new additions to the Mix this week, we have something a little different from Applied Nutrition...their chocolate-coated Protein Crunch bars!!

Strictly speaking, whilst different for Applied Nutrition (we're big, big fans of their biscuitty Indulgence Square Bars that have been out for a while, as you know!) these newbies are a little more traditional as far as the prevailing trend in low sugar, high protein bars go.

...'traditional' as in...run-of-the-mill...humdrum...boring?!

Errrmmm...nope!! HOW could we get bored of triple-layer, chocolate-coated guilt-free indulgence?!

Creamy milk (or white!) chocolate? Check! Caramel? Check! Crunchy inclusions? VERY check! Not to mention that hard-to-beat 20g protein & just 2g sugar, 200kcal nutritional spec... CHECK!!

Pretty standard though the winning combo of protein-snack USPs these are rocking may be, don't be fooled into thinking there's nothing unique & surprising going on here (and just look at the STACK in the photo!!)⁠

Thing is, we try *alot* of protein bars as you might imagine, and we've never quite had ones like these before; the chocolate coating is extra thick, creamy and generous (think Fox's Rocky biscuit bars! Also, unusually, Milk Choc is our fave!! Beats the White Choc for us!) and the centre a more delicate crispy crunch than you might imagine, with a uncannily Cadbury's Fudge-style sweet core.

Familiar? Sure. But fantastic none the less. And just different enough to enough us to 'apply' ourselves most intently to destroying a stack of them!!
