Vegan, but still incredibly 'indulgent'...Applied Nutrition release Belgian (Dark) Choc Caramel Indulgence Square!

It was always going to happen...Applied Nutrition are on a bit of a roll with their popular crispy, crunchy, chocolatey, dunkable Indulgence Squares and, buoyed with their snack-success, they're giving plant-based a try (shock) and, as of right now, they have the vegan-friendly Belgian (Dark) Choc Caramel joining their right-angular ranks!

What are we talking here? Well, impressively, very much of the same tasty, textured Indulgence experience you've come to love in the regular range...a crispy base (made using, funnily enough, exactly the same soy crispies...they were already vegan-friendly, after-all!), a sweet caramel layer and - a particular standout in this flavour - a super rich, kinda intense dark chocolate layer topping off affairs. And real Belgian dark chocolate layer, come to that!!

OK, cards on the table, Applied Nutrition don't *actually* call this one dark chocolate...but it's about there. And, honestly? This square is all the better for it!! Not only does the more premium, bolder, darker chocolate offer a more, well, _indulgent_ experience all round, but it magically offsets any plant-based flavour notes present in the bar's base!!

This in mind...this one definitely ain't just for plant-based folks, folks! Belgian Chocolate Caramel is a very worthy addition to the growing Indulgence Bar line-up, delivering the same calories, the same 15g protein (albeit with a bit of a hike in sugar content down to the full-bore, real McCoy choccy...it's shed a load of its sugar alcohols, though, so if you're sensitive to these? Boom! This is the flavour for you!!) alongside the familiar irresistible, sweet-treat, biscuitty vibes...plus, even better, an added dash of after-dinner elegance courtesy of the quality cocoa!
