The Weekly Roundup - August Week 4, 2020 at The Protein Pick and Mix!

3 weeks (has it been 3 weeks?!) of firefighting - both the heatwave and 423423564 technical website problems - and i'm back!!

First up, the BIG launch for this week, Chiefs in from Switzerland!! A whole new brand and range for us here in the Mix. We have low sugar, high protein bars (MEGA crispy ones!), a quintet of low sugar ready-to-drink milkshakes and, most uniquely, utterly irresistible (and a Pick and Mix first!!).. Protein Pretzel Sticks (please excuse the baseball cap...yes, I know it's not a look I can even *nearly* pull-off!!)

On the plant-based side, we've got the latest, 7th (hinted-at in the last roundup video!!) MisFits bar flavour - White Choc Salted Peanut!! The very first time we've seen this flavour attempted in plant-based form and it's natural, a little bit naughty and, all-in, a bit of a triumph for Tara and the MisFits team!

Finally... Guava Berry GHOST Greens finally made it, along with Rob Lipsett's 'Whiskey Sour' GHOST Legend collab flavour (don't worry...it tastes next to nothing like whiskey!!) Also, upcoming from GHOST - #ghostiscoming and all that - GHOST Energy!!! Yep...the cat's out the bag! GHOST are getting into the energy drink game in a big way and, even better, they're launching *soon*!!

If you make it towards the end of this one, brace yourselves for some general mulling, musing (and a little bit of moaning!!) about the state of things...both in the Mix (we need a new home and it's time to say goodbye to a few favourite brand to make way for some new ones!) and across the industry as a whole.
